My photographer girlfriend Lindsey and I have been craving access to a rooftop with a spectacular view to do creative shoots. For some reason, we never actually went upstairs in our own building to check our rooftop out. Until today, when we realized the door was unlocked and finally gained access to a private rooftop with a magnificent view of Manhattan's skyline. As the pictures will prove, the space and view was spectacular and there was a gorgeous golden sunlight to top it all off. Hopefully, our building manager will never read this post because we need to do many more projects up there.
We went upstairs not expecting to get such amazing shots, but I am obsessed with how these photos turned out. The golden hour perfectly matched my outfit; a nude top with denim culottes and gold metallic shades which I think is a great option for a casual summer evening. And I don’t know if I will ever be able to wear low waist pants ever again, I just can’t get enough of how high waist bottoms emphasize our silhouettes. If you are not a big fan, I advise you to give it a try: it’s magical!
